Seahawks and Sounders FC Use STIHL Products to Decrease Environmental Impact

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC have partnered with STIHL to use STIHL BGA 85 handheld blowers at CenturyLink Field, Starfire Sports Complex and the Virginia Mason Athletic Center. The BGA 85 provides another eco-conscious product to help reduce the team's overall impact on the environment. The BGA 85 blowers feature the innovative 36 volt STIHL Lithium-Ion battery technology.

"We take great pride in the on-going maintenance of our world-class facilities," said John Wright, Director of Facilities and Fields. "The new STIHL blowers are easy to use, help us keep the fields and facilities free of leaves and debris and enable us to do our part for the environment."

The BGA 85 eliminates fuel costs and engine emissions, and it also runs quieter than its gasoline-powered equivalents, making it ideal for noise-sensitive areas. The handheld blower is great for homeowners and professionals alike, and with zero exhaust emissions, it is ideal for hospitals, greenhouses, greens roofs and urban environments.
