SCALES OF JUSTICE: Some of the recent offences at Oxford magistrates' courts
Elhadi Hamza, 31, of Alexandra Road, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a roadside breathtest and possessing cannabis (Class B) in Eynsham on September 8. Fined £400, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £170 costs.
Sean O’Sullivan, 20, of Van Diemans Lane, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on December 11. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
Viktoras Vitkus, 26, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting a £37 pair of shoes from TK Maxx in Oxford on December 30 and 10 counts of receiving stolen goods in 2011. Jailed for 12 weeks.
Liam Rowe, 21, of Territorial Way, Oxford, admitted possessing two wraps of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on August 28. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
Lee-ann Sheridan, 32, of Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted resisting Pc James Chapman in the execution of his duty in Abingdon on August 7. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £100 costs.
