Judge Orders Iowa to Issue Child's Birth Certificate with Names of Both Same ...
@Beahbeah Nice try, but it just doesn't fly. I acknowledged the "just want to be comfortable" aspect.....but look closely and you will see that that is a man's shirt she is wearing....and I have no doubt that she bought it BECAUSE it was a shirt that was marketed to men, not because it was more comfortable than other similar shirts that are marketed to women......And, as for the short hair, lots of women have short hair without grooming it in such a way as to look as much like a male naturally looks as possible, as this woman has done. It is not just short--she has purposely had it arranged to resemble a male.
And there certainly is a genetic disposition--or at least practical reasons--to dress a certain way--if that were not the case, then gender-specific differences in dress would not be more or less universal across all cultures, as they have been throughout human history, dating back even to our earliest ancestors.
