Making tracks for children
Australians John Clark, a fitness freak, Daniel Seehusen, landscaper, Aaron Turner, accountant and Tim Holman, 25, digital project manager, have embarked on a journey from London to Melbourne on bicycles to spread awareness on child trafficking. The quartet, all in their twenties, make up part of the Ride2Rescue (R2R) team which aims to raise funds for humanitarian relief and development organisation World Vision’s Child Rescue, which helps combat child trafficking, the third most profitable industry worldwide, after drugs and weapons.
They left London, England on April 30 last year and were joined by Kathryn Audsley, 24, and Karina Ottosen, 30, during their layover in Cambodia.
They had journeyed 8,000km by the time they reached Kuala Lumpur earlier this month. The four hadn’t faced any major mishaps, other than temperatures of up to 48oC and 76 tyre
