Jean Paul Gaultier's Exhibit: “From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk”
The World of Jean Paul Gaultier is making his mark on America…again, making his U.S. debut at the Dallas Museum of Art .
According to industry insiders, Texas is well known for their “devoted and fashion conscious clientele”.
Neal Hamil, former executive vice president of Ford Models and director of Elite Model Management North America, now creative director for Fashion Houston, says, “I don’t know any designers that don’t like to come to Texas. It’s because they do so well here.”
Gaultier mentions his impression of the women’s style he’s encountered since his arrival to the Dallas launch. “I saw some women that were very elegant, super elegant. And that we’re even more Parisian than some Parisians,” he said.
The Jean Paul Gaultier traveling interactive “From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk” exhibition will focus on the haute couture designer’s work over the years.

RT @: Who said it? “When a dress costs as much as a Mercedes, you want to wear it more than once!”
