Doing a period drama is a dream come true for me.

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Poirot, so to play the prime suspect in a two-hour Christmas special is really exciting for me. I got a strange tingly feeling on my first day working with David Suchet. I’ve watched Poirot since I was a kid, and it’s something everyone sits down for, so I wouldn’t have been human if I hadn’t been nervous. Thankfully, David was very welcoming. In fact, he’s a lot like Poirot, as he listens intently to everything you have to say.

Rascal Keen To Be First Black Bond

British rapper DIZZEE RASCAL is eyeing a move into movies - he’s hoping to become the first black man to play JAMES BOND.

The British public recently named Rascal as the top contender to be the first black Bond, ahead of Will Smith and Jay-Z, in a survey by PreLoved.

The star is ecstatic about the results - and hopes his friendship with movie star Brad Pitt will help him land the coveted role.

He says, “I heard that this morning, I like that. Yeah, that’s big, that’s big. Why not man? I can rock a tuxedo. The whole nation’s seen that. I’ve just got to get my lines right, that’s all.

“I actually saw him (Pitt) a few weeks ago at Claudia Schiffer’s house… so I might get that James Bond role after all, pull a few strings and that.”

LONDON - Peter Morgan, the writer of the critically acclaimed The Queen, is no longer scripting the new James Bond flick after Sam Mendes was roped in to helm the project, it has emerged. It is believed Mendes, 44, wants Patrick Marber, 45, the much-admired playwright, to replace Morgan, 47.

I don’t get people who don’t like Tarantino or his movies (probably has something to do with me not getting how CBS dominates ratings) but if reading Tarantino’s enthusiastic chicken scratch letter of encouragement to a young, slightly twisted fan named Sarah doesn’t leave you feeling like he’s an OK dude, then you’re more dead inside than the producers of Mike & Molly.
